[vc_row full_width=”” parallax=”” parallax_image=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Dream:
I probably have this dream twice a week. It’s basically the exact same dream each time, just with different people, and different places.
But the dream consists of him cheating on me, me finding out, getting completely upset, where I’m screaming at him, bawling my eyes out, and hitting him as many times as I can, but he doesn’t feel remorse. He laughs, or acts like hitting him and bawling about it doesn’t bother him.
About 3 years ago he cheated on me. We are better now, but the thoughts still haunt me each and every day. I’m sure because of this, it litterally haunts my dreams, and brings itself back up for me to relive it. Im sure thats why I dream it in the first place, but its been really bothering me lately.
Why do I dream it?
Why does he show no remorse?
Why does he laugh?
Why does me hitting him not bother him at all?
Why is it a different person each time?
Any answers?

Dream Response:
Dear Dreamer,
Thank you for submitting your dream to us here at the School of Metaphysics. The way that you are describing the way you think is not that far off from what the dream is telling you.
Your dreams are telling you about you. There are two rules about dreams. The first rule is every dream is about you the dreamer. The second rule is every person, place and thing in the dream is a part or aspect of you. What we have learned about dreams, such as yours, is that your husband or boyfriend cheating on you in dreams represents a way that you are cheating yourself. The thoughts and feelings that you felt three years ago (feelings of betrayal) still have a resonance with you today. You described it well when you said, “The thoughts still haunt me each and every day”. How are you ignoring your true desires (it doesn’t bother him)? The dream is bringing to your attention the need to give attention to the inner self (screaming at him, hitting him).
There are several things that you can do with this dream in your life. You could look back to see when the dreams started and look at what was happening in your life at that time. This will give you some insight into what the cause of the dream is. This could be a good time to re-focus on what you want in your life. You could make a list of the things you want to do or accomplish in the next year, the next five years, and so on. The dream is asking you to wake up to the ways you have been ignoring or not paying attention to what your inner desires are!
The way this dream might play out in your life is that you are unhappy in your job and you say you are going to start looking for a job that is more fulfilling but you never take action to find another job. Another way this could play out in your life is you go on a diet and then continually cheat by eating things that are not good for you then laugh or joke about it.
Trust is an important part of the message in this dream and trust is built by continually following through with what you say you are going to do.
We trust that this will be helpful in starting to understand the messages in your dreams. You can learn to interpret your own dreams by becoming a dream school member or registering for the free dream interpretation lesson.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
