WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU CALL US? READ ABOUT THE FIRST DREAM 2017.
First Call of the Night:
A lady called from Boston after listening to the Dan Rea’s WBZ radio show on her way home from another event. She heard Dan Rea’s dream of “not passing the bar” even though in waking life he had with flying colors. This was upsetting for him and that is why he shared it with Dr. Barbara O’Guinn Condron on the radio. The lady related to Dan’s dream because she is also a lawyer and has had a very similar dream to his. She didn’t hear the interpretation and was trying to call in the show with no success because the lines were busy. She called the National Dream Hotline® as soon as they announced the phone number and I was fortunate to receive her call.
I Thought I Passed the Bar Exam!?!
I failed my bar exam like I wasn’t prepared for it. EOD
female, Massachusetts, is a lawyer, called into School of Metaphysics World Headquarters 4/28/2017
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
This dream is a specialized form of the common dream of finding yourself in school and unprepared for a test. The dreamer is a lawyer by profession, so why would she dream of failing the exam that she already passed years ago? The answer can only be found in recognizing that dreams are symbolic of something else.
As our dream expert listened to the dreamer, she learned that the original reasons the woman entered law practice have not been fulfilled through her life. Her high idealism of aiding people has not come to fruition in the ways she expected. THIS is why she is failing her bar exam in the dream. The dreamer was not prepared for what her profession brought.
The fact that the dream repeats itself over the dreamer’s life indicates that she is facing a similar life lesson. When she feels she isn’t prepared to handle a situation, the dream lets her know her thinking is faulty. It is a false read because in waking life she has proven herself capable of meeting the challenge of learning by passing her bar exam. The dream is encouraging the dreamer to become honest in her self-evaluation, to own what she knows. The dreamer might respond to this dream by relating to how she actually passed the test in waking life and apply what she did then to face the challenge in the present time. This could include asking more questions or learning new skills, so she can move forward in life, closing the gap between what she desired (the ideals of her profession) and what is actually happening in her life (what her legal practice affords).
This made so much sense to the dreamer, she asked about another dream….
Escape Through the Open Window
There are times that I am flying in my dreams, but it only happens after being chased or physically threatened in the dream as at gunpoint or being robbed. My only escape is through a window and I fly away. If it wasn’t for the window I could jump out of I would be killed. EOD
–female, 50ish, Massachusetts
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
Flying in a dream represents freedom of thinking. For this dreamer, free thinking only happens after a traumatic event. There are two events that trigger this dreamer. One, when situations seem to be forcing her to make a change. Two, when what she believes what she values is being lost. Both of these revolve around losing control, or freedom to choose. When pushed in these directions, the dreamer opens her mind, drawing upon understandings she did not realize she possessed.
Many times people think they are better “under pressure”. Those who can focus their thinking and solve difficult problems in a crisis, when every moment counts towards life or death, are important to all of us. This dreamer is one of those people. However the dream in very few images conveys the cost to the dreamer. Without the pressure to open her mind, it seems hard for her to make a decision. This dream readily reflects the demands of the dreamer’s profession. The ways she had hoped to aid others are fulfilled only by thinking in different ways than she expected.
The practice of foresight that her profession demands can be perceived in a different light as a result of interpreting her dream’s meaning. As a response to that, she identify what is motivating her to think differently.
I WISH MY CAR COULD SWIM
I WISH MY CAR COULD SWIM
I love water so I don’t understand why I would have this dream.
Peggy, age 55, Massachusettes
This dream come from a WBZ radio caller, Dan Rea Show. 04/28/17.
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
This dream reflects why the dreamer might be feeling overwhelmed. The dreamer has goals in life and is directing her mind and body toward accomplishing them. This is represented by the driving down a road. The sudden appearance of water indicates what is happening in the dreamer’s everyday life. Her conscious life experiences are unexpectedly impeding her movement on what might be called her life path. This is a temporary condition, yet it is giving her reason to stop and evaluate the situation.
40 YEAR SHAME RELIEVED
POMPEII CHAOS
I have a recurring dream. It is in some ancient time. I am amidst chaos with people running everywhere. Everything is very vivid, even down to the toy I have in my hand. I have to go to the bathroom, and I am looking for a place to relieve myself. I finally find a place to go to the bathroom and I end wetting the bed. EOD
male, 50s, called into School of Metaphysics World Headquarters, 04/28/17
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
Bedwetting occurs in a similar fashion as sleep walking or sleep talking. The body is acting out what is “seen” by the mind. Often the person, usually a child, thinks they are actually in the bathroom only to find out this is in their mind and their body is lying in the bed! Puts an entirely new light on an otherwise misunderstood and unfortunately shamed experience. Dreams can seem so real that we can scream when attacked, we can walk down the street, or yes, relieve our bladder without bothering to have mind and body awareness connected. This is a sometimes challenging aspect of dreams.
These dreams began when the man was a child. The Psi Counselor began by suggesting the man probably had the dream when in his conscious life he was feeling helpless or insecure. He said he had had a demanding mother who was quite strict, and she expected a lot from him. He could see the possibility of the dream being related to these experiences in his life.
The man shared how embarrassing this dream has been for him, since it continued into his adult years only stopping around age 40. Talking with someone about this dream who didn’t think he was crazy and receiving insight, brought this man a sense of peace.
The dreamer said he had watched a program on public television that was showing new discoveries of the volcano erupting at Pompei, and the scenery was exactly like what was in his dream. Integrating media images into our dreams has skyrocketed since moving from analog to digital technology. These images impress in the brain, linger there and often reappear during dreamstates. The Psi Counselor proposed that it might be deeper than TV echoes since dreams rise from subconscious mind where the Akashic Records are stored. She proposed that what he had been dreaming might be past life memory, and because it seemed so real to him this might be why – as an adult – wetting the bed returned. Although this idea was farfetched for the dreamer, it is something worthy of investigation. No greater a stretch than having something on television enter his dreams.
THE HOLES IN MY BOYFRIEND'S JEANS
The Holes in My Boyfriend’s Jeans
DREAM: Tried on a pair of her boyfriend’s jeans. The designer holes in the jeans needed safety pins, because they were too large. Went to the store and saw beautiful but expensive purses. Her friend Libby was checking out holiday party items. EOD
Female Dreamer, Called in from Indianapolis, Indiana 4/30/2017
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
Dreamed she wanted to express her forward progress, (symbolized by jeans) in life by borrowing a more aggressive expression that is not usually hers. This expression seemed to give her a greater sense of value, (symbolized by the expensive purses for sale). Libby her friend, symbolizes her desire to celebrate her new sense of value.
Suggest the dreamer reflect on this borrowed manner of expressing herself and the sense of value she holds because of it. Ask if this expression is an upgrade that she can develop into who she is becoming or if this is just a way to pretend she has this value.
SOMEONE WANTS TO KIDNAP MY CHILDREN
SOMEONE WANTS TO KIDNAP MY CHILDREN
I have a recurring dream that I am on the front porch of an old house, and someone is trying to kidnap my children. Sometimes the circumstances of the dream are a little different. The person trying to kidnap them is sometimes a woman, and sometimes looks like the grim reaper. I try to hide my children inside the house. There is also a secret attic in the house that I know
about. EOD.
Female, age 32, Springfield, MO
This dream came from a KOSP 92.9 The Beat radio caller, Chris & Co. Show. 04/27/17.
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
This dream reflects a long-standing frame of mind the dreamer is using. It indicates a fear that some aspect of her conscious Self (perhaps self-doubts, fears, limitations) will take away ideas the dreamer has initiated and is developing, and that they will be lost before they have a chance to mature and become permanent parts of her Self. She is aware of the existence of her Superconscious Mind, but it is not often or easily accessed.
The fact that the nightmare is recurrent indicates that messages from the dreamer’s subconscious mind are going unheeded. This same message applies to the dreamer’s state of awareness every time she has the dream.
We suggested that the dreamer spend some time connecting to her Higher Self through prayer or meditation so that she could identify the parts of her Self she sees as threatening to detract from those ideas she values the most.
When the interpretation was offered, the woman said, “Oh wow! So I don’t have to worry that someone’s wanting to kidnap my kids!?! What a relief!”
RIDING A HORSE TO SCHOOL
Riding a Horse to School
I was riding a horse to school. Then I was suddenly in the bathroom of the school. When I came back out to the horse who was tied up, it was windy and the horse was jumpy. I was scared to get back on the horse. EOD
Female, middle age, Chicago Springfield, MO 4/30/2017
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
This dream’s main symbol is a horse, which when controlled by a person, represents the dreamer’s will. When she was on the horse, she was using her will to direct him to a place of learning, specifically to a room where thoughts can be reflected on and reviewed. Then the choice can be made to eliminate those thoughts that are no longer wanted or needed.
Once done though, there seems to be some fear that she will be unable to keep her will power directed, perhaps bringing those thoughts back that she no longer wants. After discussing the symbols, the woman said, “I have just recently started weight watchers and the dream seems related to that.”
Suggestions to work on the will – do an exercise daily where you focus on an object, like a second hand on the clock, to train the mind to hold the attention where you want it for an extended period of time.
MAD ABOUT DIRTY DISHES
Mad About Dirty Dishes
DREAM: Chef/Owner in Restaurant was washing the dishes, but they were being put away dirty. When I complained he fired me. I was so mad I broke most of the dishes and told all of his customers. EOD
Male Dreamer, 35years old, called in from Indianapolis, Indiana 4/30/2017
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
A restaurant represents a place in mind the dreamer was at sometime the day before that is receptive to knowledge.
The Chef/owner would represent the dreamers inner authority. The dishes represent the tools the dreamer uses to present and assimilate food, (symbol for knowledge).
The dreamer feels he is being rejected by his inner authority, or that his inner mind is not cooperating with his inner desires, not meeting his expectations in being mentally clear and productive that day.
The fact that the dishes were dirty symbolizes the dreamer’s belief that the knowledge he receives from his inner mind is tainted, unhealthy or ineffective.
His anger is miss-directed at his higher self, when the dream suggests he himself is responsible for clearing his conscious mind to accurately receive this inner knowledge.
Suggest the dreamer practice concentration to empower his ability to focus and receive more completely. Blame is never an answer.
ESCAPE AT THE LAST MINUTE
Escape at the Last Minute
She was in a car, driving. Her friend was with her. They were arguing a little, not real bad. The car began to go faster on its own. Her friend asked her to slow down. She said she wasn’t doing it, it was the car speeding up. The car kept going faster and then drove into some water. She and her friend escaped before it went into the water. She said, ‘Oh well, I needed a new car anyway. EOD
Female, Louisville, KY, called into the School of Metaphysics World Headquarters 4/28/2017
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
The car is a symbol of the dreamers physical body and the dream is pointing out that she is moving too quickly through life. Things are moving faster than she means for them to. The dreamer stated her friend indicates a loving quality. She needs to pay more attention to the part of herself that wants her to be more loving, to slow down and not hurry through life experiences. Becoming immersed in the water indicates that experiences have become too much for her. She feels like moving away from what she has been experiencing and starting over.
CORPORATE GOOD VS EVIL
Corporate Good vs Evil
I had a dream last night that my father was the head of a huge corporation. He had died, so his business partner, my brother, and myself were in a corporate board room trying to decide how to direct the corporation. The business partner and my brother wanted to use the corporation to do evil, but I wanted to use it to do good. Because I was opposing them, they wanted to ship me away to some other place. EOD.
Male, twenties, Springfield, MO
This dream was called in during National Dream Hotline. 04/30/17.
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
This dream reflects the way the dreamer was perceiving his productivity in learning the day before. The dreamer’s awareness of his inner authority is changing. He is being faced with a decision about which conscious aspects of himself he will use to direct what he is producing within himself, through his choices in life. He recognizes that the qualities of these different aspects would create different types of change in his life, either positive or negative.
When the interpretation was offered, the man said, “That makes so much sense with what took place yesterday. I was at a party and was offered drugs and alcohol. I’ve been doing a lot of inner work and knew that those things would distract me from the changes I’m trying to make in my life.”
BABY ON THE ROOF
Baby on the Roof
DREAM: She was on the roof with a baby girl. It was raining and she was trying to keep the baby dry. EOD
Female dreamer, called in by Indianapolis, Indiana 4-30-2017
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
The dreamer has had a new awareness or idea (baby) about her connection with the creator and is trying to protect and come to an understanding of this new connection with her divine nature.
Many times when one receives a new spiritual thought there is a need to protect it until one can understand how to incorporate this new way of thinking into their life experiences (protecting baby from the rain).
We suggest that the dream take the time to journal and to evaluate where she is in her understanding of the creator and how she wants to commune with this higher part of self.
SURPRISE! i HAD A BABY
Surprise! I had a Baby
Our Niece is getting marry in June 30.. I had a dream about her that she has baby around 2 to 3 years old and we didn’t even know she already have. I had a dream about her that she has baby around 3 years old and we didn’t even know dhe had baby. We knew when she was getting ready to marry. EOD
SP, female, Dallas, TX, sent to School of Metaphysics World Headquarters Sat Apr 29, 2017
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
Our research at the School of Metaphysics in the USA indicates that dreams are messages from the subconscious mind that give feedback to the conscious mind concerning on a dreamer’s thoughts, attitudes, emotions and actions 24 – 48 hours prior to having the dream. For this reason, it may help this dreamer to recall what was happening in the waking life around the time of the dream.
Did she have an important conversation with someone that influenced her into making an important decision? Was there an event that led her to consider taking on something new? What kind of idea has she been brewing but has yet to be committed to?
Answering questions like these may help her to identify the idea her dream baby represents. Once she identifies the idea, she can then imagine how she’ll become more fulfilled through experiencing the new way of life this idea can bring. She will be stronger, determining actions to take to encourage this new development in her life.
"OH, IT'S JUST ON THE STREET WHERE I LIVED"
“Oh, It’s Just on the Street Where I Lived”
I have a recurring dream that I have had all my life about a place I lived as a child. I was walking down a street that was familiar. There was a doorway at the end. Iwent through the doorway and was in a place where I was seeing the shoreline of Africa. EOD
Female in Kansas City, Called in the School of Metaphysics Work Headquarters, 04/29/2017
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
The state of mind of childhood at its best is one of security, exploration, curiosity and openness. The dreamer could be having this dream every time she is moving in her mind from a place that is very familiar and entering that which is unknown. The shoreline and some of the scenes she described could possibly even be a past life memory, as she has not been to those places in this life.
TWO WOLVES: THE BLACK AND WHITE OF IT
Two Wolves: the Black and White of it
I am coming out of the woods, coming up on the porch of a house. There is a woman inside. As I apporach the door I have a strong feeling like I have had before when some intuitive thing happens. I look down the street and see two wolves approaching, one is black, one white. I am not usually frightened, but i do feel uneasy about these. EOD
Female from Louisville, KY., called into School of Metaphysics World Headquarters, 04/30/2017
INTERPRETATION in the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MIND©
The dreamer is coming out of a subconscious experience, the woods, which could be for example a daydream, meditation or creative, imaginative endeavor, to a different state of mind, the house. The wolves represent two compulsive habits. Since they are black and white, it could be that the habits are positive and negative, and the dreamer feels the need to be on the alert. It was suggested that she think about what happened the previous day that put her in a different frame of mind and what the habits are that she could watch for, and discern what it could be that frightens her about that place in mind.
